    Cecil was killed in a RR accident at Weston. Spent 2 enlistments in the 6th Cavalry at Ft. Meade, Dakota. Acted as an orderly during visit of H. Taft the Secretary of War. Spent 4 years in the Phillipines as bughler. Grace's second husband was Charles Frame.

Slocum, NY sailed for Germany 5 Apr 1920 to 20 Jan 1923 transferred Co. A. 8th Infantry until 9 Feb 1923 Honorable discharge.

    Thomas Reed was named for uncle Tom and Reed for the family of Reeds in ancestry. (Hardman history: my great-grandmother was a Reed and reared on Brushy Fork of Elk). Served 13 years in the US Navy. Was in Mexico in 1915, being one of the first to land at Vera Cruz.

    Bernadette was born and raised in Clarksburg, went to Catholic school, had 4 years of Latin, attended WV University, Salem College and Univ. of Colorado, taught school in Cole District, Northview, Summit Park, was a music superintendent for 18 schools, 80 teachers, grades 1 - 6. She had a beautiful married life with Jerome Malfregeat owner of the Forco Glass Company of Clarksburg. (personal interview)
