Regarding subject matter:

How come a photon takes 1 million years to get out of the sun?

(Sun radius 7 x 10^8 m. Speed of light 3x10^8 m. Should be 2 1/3 second???)

"Drunk photon" bumps into nuclei and electrons in the way, goes in random direction, overall ACTUALL trip to the surface: 9 x 10^21 meter!!! That's 1 million light years!

Parallax:
Distance to my thumb: using the parallax triangle.

Hyparchus satellite story: using a simillar triangle.

Tutorial III : To be solved in class, Friday.
