The goals of this assignment are to design, build, test, and document
a electrical system or a programming project. You can choose the
system/program or you may consult with me to help you identify a
system or programming project. I recommend that you choose a system
that interests you. In addition to demonstrating your working system/program
to the lab instructor, you are required to hand in a technical report
documenting your design or program.
Initially, we will need a project proposal describing your system and specifications. This proposal will be reviewed by me to make sure that your project can be completed in the allotted time. The project proposal is due on Friday, March 19, 1999. The final report will be due on Friday, April 16, 1999. The written communication will count for 40% of your project grade. The design methodology, technical content, and creativity will count for 60% of the project grade. |
