The Shire of ACG will host the ninth annual textile symposium on the weekend of November 18-20, at the Sieg Conference Center located on Narrows Road in Lamar, PA (no street address). Saturday the 19th will be a day of classes and workshops devoted to fabric, string, and many other arts beginning with the letter F. Abundant Fighting and Fencing activities are also planned.

There will be a small simple Saturday morning side-board, and a noon lunch side-board. A tea-type hospitality table, with beverages and occasional snacks, will be available. There will also be a Saturday evening feast for 50 gentles.

The weekend fee of $16 includes site fee, bunk bed, and both Saturday side boards. The day fee of $12 includes site fee and Saturday lunch side board. Feast is $8. Babes in arms are free.
Non Member Surcharge: Anyone without an SCA membership will be charged a $5 surcharge as of July 2010 ( See kingdom notice). Note: the non member surcharge only applies to young children if they pay a site fee.
Large Groups: We ask any groups of 10 or more who plan to come without a reservation to please email\call the autocrats first even if you don't know the exact number of people you are bringing. (It helps us to coordinate the meals).

Limited bunk space is available on site for those staying the weekend. On-board reservations will receive first consideration for on-site sleeping accommodations (48 bunk spaces available, in two 24-bed dormitory rooms). All guests will need to provide their own bedding, but mattresses are provided by the site. Be warned, these are bunk beds. Indoor plumbing and showers are also available.

Parking is extremely limited, and unpaved, at the Sieg Center. There is absolutly no room for oversize vehicles, and we urge everyone to carpool as much as possible.
From everywhere, take your best route to I-80. From interstate 80 take Exit 173 to Lamar (state route 64 south). At the bottom of the exit ramp proceed southward, towards State College, on route 64. Begin looking for SCA signs. Travel 1.9 miles, and then turn left onto Washington Ave. There is a sign for the Lock Haven Conference Center at this intersection. Continue on this road for 3.4 miles (it will turn into Narrows Road). The entrance to the site is on your right (no street address).
From points South of State College Area, take your best route to State College PA, via route 322. From 322 take 26 (which will become state route 64 North) for 26 miles. Turn right onto Washington Ave, at the sign for the Lock Haven Conference Center. Continue on this road for 3.4 miles (it will turn into Narrows Road).
