Supper: "The Mad Hatter" in Bourton-on-the-Water. Jan and Mary Jane split a meal. There is a race of little paper boats on the stream, the Windrush, that flows near "The Mad Hatter." We pause in Lower Slaughter to take pictures of Scotty, Jan and me on the "Post Horse Bridge" and walk around the manor house. Jan initiates "Mary Jane's Camera Memorial Photos," taking pictures that I would take if my camera were still functional. We stop by the road to take some photos of the hillside en route to Lower Swell. We pass a live red fox on the road as we drive to our B&B.

We stay for two nights at Claremont House, Blockley, Moreton-in-Marsh. We love the decor of this B&B! Blues and yellows predominate in our bedroom. Nice bathroom. Penguins on snack tray in our room!
