I'm looking for information on James Monroe Hall, B. 1820, D. 1873, Westfield, Lewis Co, W. VA. Wife was Nancy Burnside. This was my paternal GGgrandfather. My dad's name was Herman O. Hall, B. 1921, D. 2003, raised in Weston, W. VA. His parents were Minor Truman Hall and Anna M. Hall (nee Jarvis).

I am doing research for a friend. Searching for ancestry of the following people. William A Hall b 10/11/1924, Nebraska d 5/17/1981. Father William H Hall b 1901, Nebraska. Mother, Hazel N Cave b 1904 d 1968. Father of 1901 William is William Hall b 1875 d sometime between 1915-1920, I think. 1875 William married to Catherine, Katherine, or Katie who immigrated from Russia? in 1885, naturalized 1896. Married the same year. Thanks

Clayton C. Hall, my grandfather, is a decedent of Norman and Annie Hall. I am trying to find out their nationality, ethnic origin. Were Norman and Annie Hall sharecroppers or slaves? My father is the late, Lee Otis Hall.

My mother had me 5/1/1990 at the age of 21. I believe my father is Arthur Hall. I know he was living in California and possibly San Jose. I believe his father was/is an attorney of some sort. It is possible he passed away, but I am not sure. He would be in his early 40's. I am just trying to contact him. Thank you.

im a native american and live in southwest AZ, parker. my interest is what my mother told me about a man that came to the area called Beaver Lake,CA which is now the AVI casino which is owned by the fort mohave tribe. the man she mentioned was named charlie hall and that he was from missouri and that he was caucasian, also something interesting was that my mother mentioned that he was with the jesse james gang, they left him at beaver lake with a corral full of fresh horses as the rest of the gang headed for CA to rob a bank (san francsico maybey) and the plan was for the rest of the gang to return and get fresh horses and head back to missouri. the few things i recall what my mother mentioned was that he had red hair and he would sit on the porch and would sing, 'red river valley'. the james gang never returned.

I am researching the Halls of Estill County Kentucky. Came into Kentucky from Bedford County Virginia. My 5th. great grandfather being Leonard Hall born about 1728, married Joanna Letton. Leonard came to Barren County Kentucky about 1797. Leonard's son William is my 4th. grandfather, Can't prove if it's Green or Arthur that's my 3rd. great. My 2nd. great is Arthur Hall, father to Wesley Hall my great grandfather. Wesley's son Jonathan Hall is my grandfather. Jonathan lived all his life at Cob Hill in Estill County Kentucky. I am researching information on NORMAN HALL from Winton, N.C. Norman Hall was married to Anna Hall,they had four sons, William, Sherman, Winfred,and Clayton. Looking for decendents of Lucinda Hall. Her father was from VA. and she was born in Ohio 1830. She married Robert Burns and they had two daughters born in Ohio, Augusta and Mary Louise. After Burns death, she remarried Abram Shanton and they lived in Pierceton, Indiana.

My g-g grandfather, Eli Bentley, born in Lincoln County, KY, 1809, married a Mary Hall, born about 1813 in Posey Township, Rush County, IN. Her father was Festus Hall. Eli and Mary were married in Hancock County, IN, on 5 September, 1830, and had five children. The two youngest were Martha A., born in 1839 in Rush County, IN, and Festus, born 5 February, 1841, near Knightstown, IN. I am searching for the names and birth dates of the three other children. Can anyone help me in ending my search of about ten years? Thanks.

I was adopted at the age of 4-days. I now know that my mother was Vicki Ann Hall born in 1955 and died in 1985. My grandfather was L. Hall and grandmother was Kate Hall who lived in Olathe Kansas. I am attempting to trace the ancestors of my great, great grandfather Alexander Hall (B. 6/23/1880) and Rebecca Colburn (B. 2/21/1779). I have him from New Haven but don't know if that is correct - it may have been New Haven County in CT or it may have been where he lived when he was married. . They were married in Newtown, CT on 4/28/1821. Either Alexander or Rebecca died on 12/21/1879 and they are buried in Newtown. Their children are listed as Daniel (Who married Sarah Judson), Anna Eliza, Jane Polly, James and Rebecca. Any help in my search would be appreciated.

Hi, I have found information that says that Joseph Hall had a son by a previous marriage than the one to Mary Ann Hitt Strange. It gives no name for the wife, but says that there was a son named Leonard Hall who married Sarah Strange (daughter of William Strange and Mary Ann Hitt). Can you tell me anything more about Leonard Hall. I have found him in the Lewis Co. Census and it shows that he has several sons. I think he may be the father of my gg grandfather (Jonathan Hall) who married Margaret Young in Braxton Co. in 1840.
