Obituary for Grace Davis
Died October 5, 1886

Oct. 12 -- Grace Davis, daughter of Mrs. Elvira Davis, of Elm Tree, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Dr. McKown, in this place on Tuesday last, after a short attack of Typhoid fever. Her age was 13. Grace was a good girl, beloved by all who knew her. Her mother and relatives have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad and sudden bereavement. Funeral services were conducted in Elm Tree M. E. church, on Wednesday, at 2 p. m. Rev. C. F. McKown, of Clayton, officiating, after which she was laid in the Holland cemetery
