We especially need a tentative count for the Saturday catered picnic lunch and Saturday evening banquet. Cost for the picnic lunch will be $8.00 per adult and $4.50 for children under 12 years. Banquet will probably be between $12.00-$13.00 per adult. I would expect a reduced rate for children - amount depends on where we can schedule the banquet.

Plans are to have special commemorative items for sale. We will also launch, on August 15th, 1998, sale of a publication on Military Veteran Descendants of John and Elizabeth (Cummins) Jackson and also a publication of Five Generation Charts showing descendancy from John and Elizabeth. Proceeds from these items and publications will go to the Jackson Brigade, Inc.
During the reunion, I plan to launch my publication on the John Jackson Jr. line. I will donate "above cost proceeds" to the Jackson Brigade, Inc. if ordered during or before the reunion. Details on special items and publications will be announced in the May newsletter.
We are in need of items for the Silent Auction and should receive at least a description of these by April 1, 1998. To date we have a very old quilt donated by Margot Rowland and a video tape about Stonewall Jackson donated by John M. Jackson.
We are also in dire need of donations to help defray costs for this special reunion. Our present balance will only cover the newsletter for this year at best.
