Jackson Brigade Reunion 2008 Video
During the
Jackson Brigade Reunion in Zanesville, Ohio, our son Scott Hyde, age 18, took fours
hours of video. Scott, who wants
to attend film school next year, decided to carefully edit the footage to show
the spirit of the Reunion though highlights. His resulting video is 18
minutes in length and very impressive!
Several individuals who have purchased the Reunion DVD give it rave
reviews:
"The
Reunion DVD was a very professional DVD showing the highlights of the
Reunion."
Nancy Jackson
"I
was very impressed from the get-go. When the shot of the bridge faded to
the reunion t-shirt image, I had one of those little "huh" moments,
because it was a nice touch that I wasn't expecting at all. Then the opening
montage was really good--especially the multiple shots of folks leaving the
boat. And the way the video
editing followed your narration was very, very well done, I thought.
Overall, Scott's given the real feel of the reunion. And the music
selection seemed just about perfect to me--it followed well the pace of the
editing and the theme."
John M. Jackson
"We particularly
liked the way Scott wove the historical aspect of the town within the scenes of
the reunion. ... We definitely feel that Scotty has potential in the
movie-making field. We were impressed."
Lee and Linda Meyers
"Give
Scott a great big THANK YOU
for the outstanding DVD movie on the Jackson Reunion. I sure enjoyed
it."
