Subject: Lab and project ideas

Hi,

If you are having trouble with the Simulink implementation of the
music synthesis system, it might be best to focus on the C
implementation.  Several students (and me too) have noticed that the
Simulink versions seem unreliable for some reason.

Regarding final projects for the course, please try to think about
general topics that might interest you.  On Friday, I will talk about
some options, and then during the week after Spring Break I'd like you
to decide on a project topic and write a brief description of what
you'd like to do.

The purpose of the project is for you to learn something new.  So,
don't be afraid to pick a topic that you know nothing about.  The
important thing is that you pick something that is INTERESTING to you.
