ELEC 101, Spring 2005
Prof. Rich Kozick
Date Assigned: Monday, April 4, 2005
Date Due: Friday, April 8, 2005
Please read Sections 11.1 - 11.4 in the Bobrow text.
These sections review number systems, binary arithmetic,
digital logic gates, and Boolean algebra.
I think you have seen this material before, so we will review
it quickly in class.
Let me know which items require more explanation.
Please solve the following problems in Chapter 11 for Friday:
2, 3, 4, 5 (parts a and e only for all problems)
6, 7, 8, 9 (part a only for all problems)
10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 (parts a and b only for all problems)
- Please make sure you have completed the Bode plots in
Lab 8, including your measured data and
the analytical formulas.
The measured and analytical results should agree closely over most
of the frequency range.
I will look for these plots the next time that I grade your lab
(probably at the end of the semester).
- Please finish wiring the digital stopwatch
in Lab 9 before you come to lab on April 7,
and plan to demonstrate your circuit at the beginning of the lab session.
