  1. Reading: In the Nilsson/Riedel text, continue to study Chapter 3, particularly Sections 3.5, 3.6, and 3.7. Begin reading Chapter 4, Sections 4.1 through 4.4.

  2. Please solve the following problems, and submit solutions on September 9:
    Chapter 2: Problems 26 and 29.
    Chapter 3: Problems 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, and 21.

    Note the changes announced in class on Sept. 4:

    The problems from Chapter 2 will be due on Monday, September 9.
    The problems from Chapter 3 will be due on Wednesday, September 11.

    The Chapter 3 problems will give you review and practice with series/parallel resistors, voltage dividers, and current dividers.

  3. We will have lab on Thursday, September 5. Please get the Lab 1 description from Professor Wismer's Public folder (look for the ELEC225 folder in her Public folder). A link to Professor Wismer's public folder is in the Laboratories link on the course home page.

    Read the Lab 1 description and bring it with you to lab.
