Exam 1 will be on Monday, February 17.
The exam topics will include transformers (Sections 9.10 and 9.11)
and steady-state power (Chapter 10).
The exam will be closed-book and closed-notes, but you can bring
one piece of 8.5'' by 11'' paper with notes and formulas.
You can write on both sides of the paper, if you would like.
Reading:
In the Nilsson/Riedel text, please review Chapter 6, and begin
reading Chapter 7.
Please read Sections 7.1 and 7.2 for class on February 19.
We will be studying Chapters 7 and 8 for the next few weeks.
There are no homework problems due next week.
I would like to look at your lab notebooks for Labs 1 and 2.
Please submit your lab notebook to me by
Thursday, February 20, at 12 noon.
If you have lab on February 20, I will collect your notebook after
lab.
If you do not have lab on that day, the please submit your notebook in
class on February 19 or bring it to my office by 12 noon on February
20.
