Homework 10

Date Assigned: Friday, September 19, 1997
Date Due: Monday, September 22, 1997

There is nothing to submit from this assignment on Monday. However, please review, catch-up, work on your lab reports, and read the text, as described below.

  1. If you were busy this week and missed some assignments, please catch up and submit late homework solutions on Monday. See me if you have any questions.

  2. Please prepare a draft of your lab report by Tuesday. Each student will individually write a lab report. Of course, all members of a lab group will present the same experimental results. (You can show me a draft after Tuesday, but I may have less time to look at it, and you will have less time to correct the report.)

  3. Please continue reading Chapter 3, Sections 3.3 and 3.4. Also review Section 1.2 on signals, with particular attention to the impulse function delta(t), step function u(t), and time-shifted signals. We will work on convolution and its applications for about the next two weeks.

Schedule for Quiz 2 and Labs

Quiz 2 is scheduled for Monday, September 29. The lab reports are also due on that day. I propose that we move the quiz to Friday, October 3. Please consider this over the weekend. Let me know if this change is not good for you. We will make a final decision on Monday.
