ELEC 320: Matlab Programs from Kamen/Heck Textbook

The MATLAB programs used in the textbook by Kamen and Heck are available from The MathWorks, Inc.. I have downloaded the files, and they are available in the directory http://www.eg.bucknell.edu/~kozick/elec320/heck
The file readme.txt explains the filename convention and contents of this directory.

A MATLAB tutorial is also provided in two word processing formats: tutorial.doc (Word for Windows vers. 6.0) and tutorial.wp (Wordperfect 5.1 for DOS). We have converted this MATLAB tutorial to HTML, and it is available at the URL http://www.eg.bucknell.edu/ecst/docs/matlab/

The MATLAB files and tutorial were downloaded to the Sun computer with the following steps. For downloading to a PC, see the instructions at ftp://ftp.mathworks.com/pub/books

  1. Copy the compressed archive file from the Mathworks site ftp://ftp.mathworks.com/pub/books/heck.tar.Z to your Sun account.

  2. Uncompress the archive and retrieve the files with the following UNIX commands:

    uncompress heck.tar.Z
    tar xvf heck.tar

The MATLAB files can also be obtained individually from the URL ftp://ftp.mathworks.com/pub/books/heck

MATLAB Tutorial from Bucknell University

A MATLAB tutorial developed at Bucknell University is available at http://www.eg.bucknell.edu/ecst/docs/chapter4/chapter4.3_Matlab.html
This tutorial is Chapter 4 from a more complete set of documentation on computing at Bucknell University that you can access at http://www.eg.bucknell.edu/ecst/docs/docs.html

For general information about the Sun computing environment at Bucknell, useful documentation is available at http://www.eg.bucknell.edu/~cs203/manual/manual.html, which can also be purchased in paper form at the bookstore.
