However, please make your best effort to solve HW 15 for class on Friday, and I will ask you to tell me SPECIFICALLY where you had trouble. Then I will try to address your specific questions in class on Friday. I will also try to work another example problem on Friday. Remember that Lab 4 reports are due on Friday, October 30, and Quiz 3 will be on Wednesday, October 28. The topics for Quiz 3 include: Convolution: problems where you need to integrate (rather than compute area geometrically), and applications of convolution (such as in the labs, homework, and class notes). Fourier series: orthogonal functions, the idea behind the formulas for computing the coefficients, computing the exponential Fourier series coefficients, frequency spectrum (amplitude and phase, one- and two-sided), and applications of the Fourier series to filtering of periodic signals. Thanks. -- Rich Kozick
