- Persuasive Programming by J. Mead and A. Shende
- Attendance Policy
- Attendance in class is expected and
will be checked during each class. While attendance is not a
component of your grade it will be used in determining a grade
if the final average is near a grade boundary.
- Late Policy
- Homework is due on the date specified, labs are due
as described above. For all assigned programs the following policy
applies.
- Assigned programs (projects) are due the day specified.
They can be handed
in up to (but not more than) 2 days late with a 15% penalty
each day. Projects will not be accepted after the 2nd late
day.
- Each student is given 3 free late days to spend as needed
during the term. It is best to save the late days for
unforeseen circumstances.
``My car broke down and I couldn't get back in time!''
``The printer wasn't working Sunday night!!''
``I had four exams last week!!!''
- You must send me email stating that you are using a late
day. There is no grade penalty for using a late day.
- Using a late day does not change the last day a program is
due!
N.B.:
It is important to note that, though a particular piece of work
may count only a small part of the final grade, it must receive
a grade to satisfy the course requirement. All course
requirements must be met.
