I made some minor changes in Makefile, tcout.c and scrwrap.c from the 
original Doug Comer's distribution.

The distribution now works under Solaris 2.6 along with gcc 2.8.1.

Save all the files in one directory, type

make CC=gcc

A telnet executable will be generated.
