Each of the items below is assigned a numeric value between 1 and 4 that corresponds to the following mapping:

Brief Explanation of Criteria

Professionalism
  • Attitude: Do you seem enthusiastic about your role?
  • Body language: Does your body language distract the audience?
  • Confidence: Do you portray the image of one who is prepared and ready to face an audience?
  • Language: Do you use professional language?
Mechanics
  • Time adherence: Did your activities stick to the allotted time?
  • Involvement of all team members: Does it look like the responsibilities were well balanced in the delivery and the preparation of the activities?
  • Dynamics of public speech: Do you sound prepared for delivering your message? Do you talk too slow or too fast? Do you consistently repeat umm, you know, and the like?
  • Eye contact with audience: Do you avoid looking at your audience? Do you stare at your shoes?
Contents
  • Preparation: Have you adequately prepared for your presentation? Do you understand the code you have written or used?
  • Organization: Is the message that you're delivering clear? Is there a good, logical sequence to the points you present?
  • Evidence: Are your assessments or conclusions based on data and analysis? Do you have evidence to support your claims?
Effectiveness
  • Communication effectiveness: Were you able to communicate what you did effectively?
  • Level of class engagement: Did you make an effort to keep the class engaged and participating in the activity?
  • Resourcefulness: Did you show initiative in changing the pace or the dynamics of your presentation based on feedback from the audience?
