At Bucknell, I teach everything from general non-science major courses (e.g., ASTR101: Our Solar System) to Advanced Courses (e.g., PHYS303: Modern Optics). My background in astronomical instrumentation is reflected in a very hands-on approach taken in my courses. If you're taking an astronomy course, expect to spend some quality time at Bucknell Observatory. My upper division courses are very project based. Students in PHYS303 (Modern Optics) build a working spectrometer by the end of the semester!
