Both would be great. I would go with free electricity, at least in the short term, with the caveat that we're talking about electricity from renewable resources. This could go a long ways towards creating opportunities for a higher standard of living throughout the world.
But free information is really important too, particularly for creating and maintaining democracy. So in the long run, I think this is essential for our survival.

I liked it! Mostly. The last two episodes were unusual in giving most of the main characters each a long monologue, and about half of the last episode was a really long epilogue. But it mostly worked for me. They had too many characters and plot lines going and they managed to tie up most of them. I like ambiguous endings more than most people seem to. Though I wish that the person who suffered the most wouldn't also have had to suffer at the end.
