Fighter Practice

OOF! OW! Clang! Bash!
The European medieval martial art of Armoured Combat. Rattan weapons and shields. Loaner armour available for newcomers. All are welcome.
Practices are generally Thursday nights, 6:30-9:00PM. People should call  (570)-244-7669 for information.

There is also archery practice at Jawharas' on Wed afternoons beginning at 4:30. Her place is at 15 Starlight lane Milton Pa 17847 and the phone is 570.437.4153 for those who get mis placed. Please note that she sits back off the road at the end of the lane.

"The second funniest acting troupe in the Knowne World", we do period-style theater and entertainment. All are welcome. No experience required.

Medieval Studies

Shire members share their interests in specific period topics. In the past these have included Byzantium, Troubadours of Occitania (southern France), Religious Manias throughout period, Vikings in the Orkneys (northern Scotland), etc..
Meetings: Usually the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm at a variety of homes in the local area.

Guild of St. Lawrence (Cook's Guild)

We study and prepare dishes from period cookbooks and other literature. Cook's Guild meetings are usually followed by a meeting of the Tasters and Noble Companions which consumes our recreated dishes. All are welcome to watch or participate. No experience required for Cook's Guild. Eater's should call to check on exact time of dinner.
Meetings: The first Saturday or Sunday of each month at 1:00 pm at a variety of homes in the local area.
The Company of Tasters & Noble Companions (Eater's Guild) around 5:00 pm the same day.

Learn new embroidery techniques and stiches or work on a project.

Interested in drawing, painting, or graphic arts? Put your talents to work for the Kingdom! Want to find out how those lovely award scrolls given out in Court are created? Come and see! No experience necessary!

Brewers Guild

Anyone interested in brewing, vinting (wine making), or cordial making is welcome to participate in the Brewer's Guild. Our brew master is more than happy to help out beginning brewers.

Heraldic Dismay

Those who wish to pick a period name or design their own period coat of arms are welcome to attend. We also review the Kingdom name and arms submissions for the month.
Meetings: Usually a Thursday night in Hughesville or Danville. Heraldic consultation on request.

We participate in the time honored tradition of telling stories. We read and research Medieval stories as well as practice speaking and storytelling techniques.
