EE 329: Laboratory 7
Correlation Exercises and Final Project Planning

This lab session will be used to allow you to work on correlation and its applications. In particular, please be sure that you understand Lab 6 and Homework 7 and the other topics that we discussed in class.

Also, I would like to discuss the final project with each of you. I would like to help you focus your topic and provide some direction so that you can start working on the project.

Several students have not submitted anything on Lab 5, the plucked-string filter. Please use the time during lab to resolve your questions with this lab, and complete the project as soon as possible.

For next week: Please read Chapter 5 in the text on digital filters. This is a short introductory chapter. We will try to cover aspects of chapters 6, 7, and 9 during the remainder of the course. Also see http://www.eg.bucknell.edu/~kozick/ee329/ex_3_31.html for an interesting Matlab program to help understand poles and zeros in the z-plane.

Thank you.
