Together with Diane Jakacki (Comparative & Digital Humanities), I designed and am implementing an Interdisciplinary Minor in Artificial Intelligence at Bucknell. It’s one of the first curricular paths that lets students from any of the three colleges (Arts & Sciences, Engineering, and Management) earn a minor built from courses across all three.

The design started as two separate proposals, AI and Society and Applied AI. It was shaped by feedback from faculty and students, and by John Hunter in Comparative & Digital Humanities. We merged the two into one minor and submitted it to all three colleges’ curriculum committees in spring 2026.

Related: I’m on Bucknell’s Academic AI Advisory Group as the College of Engineering faculty representative, and I was on the campus team at the AAC&U Institute on AI, Pedagogy, and the Curriculum (2025–26).
