The College of Engineering’s EXCELerator program brings some incoming students to campus the summer before their first semester. Every summer from 2022 through 2025 I led a group of them through XR development for engineering: applying an engineering design process to build working virtual-reality experiences in just a few weeks, with Bucknell CS students as peer mentors.
