Advising for Spring 2026 Registration

Advising will take place October 22–31, 2025.

I will ask my advisees to schedule a short meeting with me to take place during the advising period. The purpose of the meetings is to help advisees plan their course schedules for the next semester.

The link below accesses a frequently updated spreadsheet that shows the times during which I am available for advising appointments. If you are one of my advisees, please select a time that is convenient for you and notify me by e-mail. Appointments are scheduled on a first-to-request, first-served basis.

Registration Times for Spring 2026 Courses

As shown in the table below, there are four registration time slots per class year based on students' last names. (All times are in Eastern Time.) Your registration PIN (personal identification number) is active from the indicated start time until the end of the registration period at 11:59 pm ET on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Additional information:

• I will give you your PIN during your advising meeting with me.
• If you have a class during your assigned time, you may register immediately following the class. You should not miss class to complete registration.
• Students currently studying abroad will receive their PIN via Bucknell e-mail.

Research Interests

I am always looking for motivated students with strong math skills interested in the following areas of research:

• Parasitic array antennas
• Reconfigurable antennas
• Reactance-controlled array antennas
• Yagi-Uda array antennas
• Phased array antennas (active and parasitic)
• General antenna analysis and design
• Evolutionary optimization methods, especially particle swarm optimization
• Computational electromagnetics, especially the FDTD method
